-TL switch - not sure it is working

Hello,

I am not sure the -tl is working properly.  As we have a number of issues, mostly on 64-bit --- and my testing shows otherwise.

If I have SQL Anywhere 12 64-bit (latest build) running on a Windows 2012 Server.  I have NO -tl switch and no changes to the ODBC string, then our experience is that after 10 seconds the connection is severed.

For example -- no -tl switch means 120 seconds, and 1/3 of 130 seconds is 40 seconds.  If we unplug the cable from the switch and plug it back in, in 9 seconds, it stays connected.  Once we pass 10 seconds, then it disconnects.   So, that seems like it's using a "30 second Liveliness indicator" which to me is the lowest.

The database engine when querying does show 120 (when blank) --- but I don't see it behaving as 120, I see it behaving as 30.

We want to go a full minute of a wire unplugged or a wireless network hiccup BEFORE we drop the connection.   What should we do, and did something regress in SQL Anywhere 12?
